Terms of Service
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Klone Digital ("we", "us"), based in Australia, for your use of Klone Guard. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
Klone Guard checks comments on the Instagram accounts you connect and hides or deletes comments that look like spam, bots or coordinated attacks, based on our built-in rules and your settings. It checks your 20 newest posts and any pinned posts you add, roughly every 5 minutes.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You may only connect Instagram accounts that you own or are authorised to manage.
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Instagram
Klone Guard uses Instagram's official API with the permissions you approve. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta or Instagram. You must also follow Instagram's own terms. If Instagram changes or limits its API, parts of the service may stop working, and we are not responsible for that.
4. What we can and can't promise
- Spam detection is automatic. It will not catch every spam comment, and it may occasionally remove a genuine one.
- Hidden comments can be unhidden from your dashboard or the Instagram app at any time.
- If you choose "delete" instead of "hide", deleted comments cannot be recovered. That choice and its results are your responsibility.
- We aim to keep the service running at all times but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Prices and payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe. The price depends on how many Instagram accounts you pay for, as shown on your Billing page before you pay.
- If you change the number of accounts, Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of the month.
- A full cleanup of all posts is a separate one-time payment for one Instagram account.
- If a payment fails, moderation pauses until it succeeds. Your settings are kept.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. New prices apply from your next billing period.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your Billing page. Moderation continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. We don't give refunds for partly used months or for a completed full cleanup, except where the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Klone Guard to break the law or Instagram's rules, to interfere with other people's accounts, or to try to break, overload or get around the security of our service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
8. Your data
You own your content and settings. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost sales or lost followers, or for comments removed or not removed by the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies and our liability can't be excluded, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying for it to be supplied again.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Klone Guard and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service. In that case we will give you notice where we reasonably can and refund any prepaid period you haven't used.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll tell customers by email about significant changes at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction.
